Google has now realized Google Trends for Websites which is very similar to Alexa.

Many loyal users of Google are hoping that Google Trends will give webmasters a better idea of their traffic trends for their site.

Alexa and Compete have been considered inaccurate and ineffective for years and now Google is taking a crack at this important function.

Some website owners will be disappointed to find out that Google itself has excluded all of its sites and services from the service meaning you will not be able to find stats for Google.com or even Youtube.com and bloggers who have blogspot based blogs or people who use Google Pages will also not be able to track their stats.

Google has prevented website owners from removing themselves from Google Trends but obviously Google doesn't feel that policy applies to itself since Google already excluded all of its sites and services from the service.
