Why? Because these providers are no longer able to offer the best price with the best support and best features when it comes to domain registration. Domain registrars are popping up all over the place and offering the same support, services and usually more features for a cheaper price.
The old saying "You get what you pay for" need not apply anymore. Directi.com and a few other sites offer domain reseller accounts with pricing starting at $6.99 a year so why go to the big guys?
I encourage those registering domain names to seek out the best deal and forums such as DNForum.com are your best bet for finding that deal I also want to caution users from using NamePros.com.

Seems like you're talking out of your posterior on this one. GoDaddy and eNom regs continue to increase. NameCheap was an eNom reseller; they now have their own cred and continue to increase their registrations. Perhaps these companies aren't as interested in domainers who want dirt cheap prices, don't buy additional services like hosting (the real profit centers for registrars) and then demand instantaneous service when they want to transfer domains elsewhere. If your statements are based solely on reading the domainer forums you cite, you'll find that you can't EVER make them happy.
