Have you ever dialed 1800-Goog411? While if you haven't you should because its a free 411 service and its very nifty. Lately however Goog-411 has been consumed by a dozen or so technical issues and if you read my blog regularly you would note that I was the first person to report that Goog-411 discontinued calls to the service from Payphones.

However, Google has never intended for Goog-411 to be accessed from Payphone because the toll-free related fees from a payphone are extremely high and Google due to a technical error on their part forgot to block payphones or at least that is what "Gosia" a Google Spokeswoman told me via E-mail.

Goog-411 continues to have errors and bugs that plague the service its often that people entire a zip code of a popular city and Goog-411 will say "I don't recognize the zip code you entered".

I think Google needs to monitor their Mobile Help Group better to efficiently resolve these bugs. Or perhaps Google can use a Bugzilla like system.
