I was sent a Authenex A-Key 3500 Kit by Authenex, Inc.'s Marketing director who asked me to evaluate their product and compare it to existing product's on the market.
I found the A-Key to be very easy to deploy and use in a enterprise environment. I was able to test this product in my own office and in a academic setting across a college network and I also had a number of students try out the product.
I really feel that Authenex has developed a very useful product which exceeds in competition's offering since it offers the same features as it's competitors at a lower cost. Some of the competitor's that exist are Aladdin, eTrust, RSA and VeriSign all of which offer similar products at a much higher cost.
I personally tested a handful of the competition's products and all in all the features all matched up with Authenex's offerings and furthermore Authenex provided better product support.
One product I look forward to evaluating is the IronKey as it is the newest USB Token/Storage device on the market and so far the reviews I have read seem to be favorable. I am in talks with the manufacturer of IronKey about having them send me an evaluation unit.

Your results are not what I have experienced.
Authenex in my opinion is the cheap route for 2F solution. Literally.
The tokens are flimsy, and can be pried apart, nor are they waterproof. With their small size, the chance of ending up in the washing machine is not unheard of.
In my experience and opinion, the tokens fail too often - from battery, or other problems. I cannot tell why, but they do fail in a percentage unacceptable for my needs.
The administrative interface (ASAS) is cumbersome and not as well thought out as I would expect it in my opinion.
As far as I can see it, the Active Directory linkage is nothing more than a quick dump of user names into the ASAS SQL database. There is no cross group management with the AD, or seamlessness with the AD. I often struggle with database corruption.
Certain functionalities I would expect, such as quick and comprehensive import and export are just not there.
But, your mileage may vary, and the above is only my personal opinion and experience.
